I thank my parents for instilling my love of reading. From early childhood I loved visiting the library and any store that sold books. Dennis the Menace digests were a favorite. The Christmas-themed collections were particularly cherished this time of year. I rediscovered these on eBay. The covers and stories within triggered many memories of sitting in our old family room, warmed by a fire while snow fell outside, awaiting Christmas and all the season’s joy and wonder.
